Todd Gordon is in his fourth year as Activities Administrator at Roosevelt High School. He came to Roosevelt from Carlisle High School where he served as Activities Director from 2012-2015. During his time at Carlisle the Wildcats went from last place in the Raccoon River Conference All Sports Points Championship to winning the Championship in 2015. The All Sports championship is determined by points earned in how teams finish while competing for conference championships.
He helped to oversee the construction of a new turf field at the football stadium as well as renovations to the baseball facility. He started the Carlisle Athletic Hall of Fame, a student leadership program, and staff development for coaches and directors.
Before coming to Carlisle Gordon spent 7 years at Treynor. The Cardinals won 49 conference championships and teams appeared in 16 state tournaments in his tenure there.
Gordon is active in the Iowa High School Athletic Directors Association and currently serves as a the President with the IHSADA state board. He resides in Des Moines with his wife Deb. Todd and Deb have three married children and four grandchildren.

Erik Link is in his third year at Roosevelt High School as Assistant AD, Head Football Coach, and Student Support Leader. Mr. Link, a Des Moines North graduate, comes to Roosevelt from Auburn University where he was most recently a special teams and tight ends analyst with the Tigers. In two different stints with Auburn he has been a part of 61 wins in six years, four consecutive SEC championships & post season appearances including 2 BCS National Championship games.
Mr. Link earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Drake University, started his coaching career at Drake in 2004. In addition to his time at Auburn, Link has had stops at Montana State, Keller, TX High School, and Iowa State. He now resides in Des Moines with his wife Jill and welcomed a new daughter to their family in January of 2018.

Derek Schultz begins his second year at Roosevelt High School as an Assistant AD. Mr. Schultz, a graduate of Centerville, IA High School, is in his second year at Roosevelt as a Special Education Teacher and Head Boys Golf Coach for the Riders and coached 2016 Iowa State Golf Champion Wilils Gaer. Mr. Schultz has had stops at Woodward Academy (2008-2010), Collins-Maxwell (2012-2013) and has been at DMPS since 2013.
Mr. Schultz graduated from Wililam Penn University in 2008 and was a four year letter winner and two time captain on the golf team. He is married to his wife Carlyn and welcomed their first child in February of 2018. Mr. Schultz added "Education has been in the family with my sister and now myself and I don't know what else I would do. I look forward to reaching new heights with students and hopefully am able to help them reach their goals in life".

David Welshhons is in his first year as Activities Assistant at Roosevelt High School. Mr. Welshhons graduated from Pleastantville High School and then from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Communications. He comes to Roosevelt from Iowa Prison Industries and will be very active in the department fulfilling a variety of duties.
Mr. Welshhons lives in Ankeny with his wife Amy with his children Kasey (14) and Matthew (12). His son Kevin (25) is married and they have a daughter, Emsley.
