The Roosevelt Girls Bowling Team was defeated 2437-2138 on Tuesday, December 5th in Marshalltown. Roosevelt fell behind after game one but came back in game two. They made a charge at the Bobcats through the 2nd game and the Baker game but could not overcome a 205 pin deficit they had after game one. Payton Evans led the Riders with a high game of 185 and the high series of 360.
Coach Steve Loew commented, "We knew beating Marshalltown was going to take our best effort, and we did not have that today. We were a little under our average and they (Marshalltown) didn't help by going over their average by a decent number. I was proud of our girls for coming out firing in the first Baker and hope to get more of that going forward. We were not happy with our performance and I think we will come out and bowl with a purpose on Thursday vs Hoover".
The Riders travel to Plaza Lanes to battle the Huskies on Thursday, Dec. 7.
