The Riders ran into a “trap” last Friday night. SE Polk was another top 15 opponent for the Riders on the road and used a very effective full court press to take an early lead. The Lady Rams were able to keep that lead throughout the game and defeat the Riders 61-33.
“SE Polk is a hard place to play. They threw and effective trapping press for us and sped up the game in a way that threw us out of rhythm,” Said Coach Schoneberg. Junior Sanaa Smith led the Riders in scoring with 15 points and Senior Kate Claypool added seven. The Riders face Urbandale at home next Tuesday.
